In this study, we have addressed the complex regulatory chloroplast quality-control pathway by modulating the expression of two nuclear genes encoding the plastid ribosomal proteins PRPS1 and PRPL4. Comparative RNA-Seq analyses of Arabidopsis indPRPS1 and indPRPL4 dexamethasone-inducible lines overexpressing genes encoding the plastid ribosomal subunit S1 and the plastid ribosomal subunit L4, respectively.
