This project involves the genomic analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium isolated from the intestinal tract of mice exposed to benzalkonium chloride (BAC) disinfection. Benzalkonium chloride is a commonly used antiseptic, and this study aims to investigate the effects of BAC exposure on bacterial adaptation and resistance. The genome sequence will provide insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying the bacterium's persistence and potential resistance to disinfection agents, contributing to a better understanding of bacterial behavior in response to antiseptic stress.
