资源简介:
The adaptability of meat-associated pathogens under stress raises concerns for consumers, healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders. Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium NCTC14028 and Campylobacter jejuni ATCC11168 were treated with sublethal variations of proposed antimicrobial interventions proposed for use in the meat production industry. These interventions include plasma functionalised water (glow and spark-system created), LED ultraviolet light, and a novel antibacterial marinade composed of a citrus juice and essential oil component. After treatment, RNA was isolated using a QiAgen RNEasy Micro RNA extraction kit, and converted to cDNA utilising an Oxford Nanopore cDNA-PCR sequencing kit protocol (SQK-PCS111). This library was indexed according to NEBNext Ultra II Q5 Index protocol, and sequenced on an Illumina MiSeq utilising a 150-cycles V3 flow cell.
