Flood Resilient Redevelopment Index

The data presented here results from work by researchers from the Department of Environmental Sciences at Louisiana State University, in collaboration with local stakeholders from the City of Baton Rouge, including the Capital Region Planning Commission and Build Baton Rouge. The shapefile presents parcels within the Amite River Basin in terms of their redevelopment or conservation potential considering flood risk (Flood Factor™), the ecosystem service of runoff retention (during a rainfall of 4 inches, InVEST), and urban locational efficiency (National Walkability Index).
