Comparative transcriptome analysis of diploid and triploid Hulong hybrid grouper embryos

Distant hybridization refers to the hybridization between two different species, genus and higher classification levels. Usually, distant hybridization is often accompanied by the appearance of polyploidy. In this study, Epinephelus lanceolatus was used as the male parent, and the method of cold shock was used to inhibit the extrusion of the second polar body of the eggs of Epinephelus Fuscoguttatus, finally triploid embryos were prepared. The normal diploid control groups and the cold shock triploid experimental groups in the well-developed blastocyst stage, gastrula stage and crystal formation stage were selected, and then stored in RNA keeper respectively. RNA-seq was performed using the Illumina platform.
