The Offenses Known and Clearances by Arrest data set - often called Return A, “Offenses Known” or, less commonly, OKCA - measures crimes reported to the police. This data has the monthly number of crimes - for a select group of crime types - that occurred in an agency, as well as how many the police investigated and decided did not occur, and the number “cleared” by an arrest.
