Disaster-related medical geology bibliometric dataset and analytical files (1980–2025)

This repository contains the bibliometric dataset and analytical files used in the study titled: "Disaster-Related Medical Geology Research: A Bibliometric Mapping of Geogenic Exposure Pathways and Earth–Health Integration (1980–2025)". The dataset was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection using the search strategy reported in the manuscript. Initial records exported from Web of Science: 68. During the data cleaning process duplicate records were identified using DOI matching and Early Access versions were cross-checked to avoid double counting. After removing duplicate records, the final dataset used for bibliometric analysis consisted of 64 publications (articles and reviews). The repository includes:• the original Web of Science export file• the cleaned bibliometric dataset• the R script used for bibliometric analysis• documentation describing the data cleaning workflow
