Genomic diversity of Latvian Aeromonas spp. isolates and their bacteriophages. Aeromonas spp. and their bacteriophages

Sequencing data relevant to the projects concerning Aeromonas spp. generated by/in collaboration with the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre. The data generated and analyzed within the scope of the project is expected to expand the current knowledge on the diversity of culturable Aeromonas spp. bacteriophages and shed light on the diversity of Aeromonas spp. strains found in Latvia. Within this BioProject, we will aim to release complete annotated genomes of the aforementioned bacterial strains alongside the relevant Illumina (250 bp PE) and long-read (ONT) datasets that allowed us to assemble these complete genomes that will be annotated using PGAP. Additionally, bacteriophages isolated using these bacterial strains as host cultures will be sequenced and functionally annotated to be deposited herein as well to expand the known Aeromonas-infecting bacteriophage diversity and help move towards Aeromonas spp. phage-based biocontrol solutions.
