Sony PlayStation first party game title unit sales as of Q2 FY24

In the second fiscal quarter of 2024, Sony Corporation sold approximately 5.3 million first-party games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, down from 6 million unit sales in the preceding period. The company's strong performance with full game software unit sales during the end of 2023 is related to the holiday quarter and the long-awaited released of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the sequel to one of the best-selling PlayStation exclusives of all time.
