We conducted a repeated, cross-sectional survey. Surveys were distributed online in May of 2021 and in May of 2022 to a convenience sample of perinatal registered nurses providing direct patient care in the United States (<i>N</i> = 113). Respondents were recruited from professional nursing associations. The surveys included the Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) and Price Intention to Stay instruments.We recruited survey respondents through email invitations using a member list provided by the Association for Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and by posting a recruitment flier to an online forum and e-newsletter of the National Association for Neonatal Nurses (NANN). We administered the first survey via Qualtrics online in May of 2021. In May of 2022, we administered the second survey to 261 respondents from the first survey who consented to being contacted for follow-up. We included respondents if they were 18 years or older, able to read and write in English, had internet access, were licensed as a registered nurse, and provided direct patient care on a perinatal unit (i.e., antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, neonatal intensive care unit) in a U.S. hospital during some period of time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.This dataset includes responses to the survey in May of 2021 and May of 2022. After downloading responses from Qualtrics into Excel, we excluded responses if they did not have a completed consent (<i>n</i> = 2) or had missing data for the ProQOL scale (<i>n</i> = 3). We also excluded duplicate surveys completed by three respondents in May of 2022. The resulting file is 113 responses.
