资源简介:
We profiled the transcriptome of HCMV-, HCMV/M. mass- and M. mass-infected macrophages. Comparison of hierarchical clustering with the 880 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the HCMV-infected and control macrophages revealed that M. mass co-infection did not globally change the transcriptome of HCMV-infected macrophages. Low immune responsiveness upon M. mass challenge was due to the existence of HCMV, which was clearly shown in the gene ontology (GO) analysis. M. mass single-infected macrophages showed enriched GO pathways including response to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and cellular response to TNF/IL-1 compared to GO pathways enriched in the co-infected group. Overall design: Total RNA profiles of THP-1 cells were used for the hierarchical clustering and gene ontology analysis using the MeV softwared and DAVID bioinformatics resourses 6.8.
