VPRS 4056 Special Occasion Train Timetables

This series comprises working timetables for special occasions. Working timetables were those distributed for internal use and were not available to the general public.Special circumstances included either annual holidays or major events such as Easter, Christmas, New Year, Royal Show, Australia Day, Labour Day, Melbourne Cup and Royal visits. It also included other one-off events that required the re-scheduling of train tables, for example, Metropolitan School's Sports Day, Association of Railway Enthusiasts Christmas Outing, and changes in the scheduling of goods and service trains to regional areas.
