A Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) is an indicator of open water on the landscape.

Methods: This is a composite image where each pixel is selected based on the NDWI function (Green-NIR/Green+NIR). This composite thus represents the highest NDWI for every pixel for that location captured by Sentinel-2.
