Metagenomes of Rhizosphere and Endosphere Associated with Different Plants

This study investigates the microbial communities associated with the rhizosphere and endosphere of different plants collected from the Rajkot and Kachchh regions of Gujarat, India, using metagenomic sequencing. 22 samples were analyzed to compare the taxonomic diversity and functional potential of microbes inhabiting the soil rhizosphere and root endosphere. The results highlight distinct microbial compositions shaped by plant type and regional environment, offering insights into beneficial plant-microbe interactions that can support soil health and sustainable agriculture in semi-arid conditions.
