PoKUS

The data contains basic information from interviews conducted with 1005 Croatian respondents about literary texts which they had read, and how they remembered them. It was collected as part of the PoKUS project, focusing on how non-professional readers conceptualize and use literature (https://pokus.ffzg.unizg.hr/en/). The basic unrestricted database "ŠOR" (acronym of the data collectors) contains mostly information on the titles and authors of the books from the interviews. There is also a restricted "ŠOR" database with more granular data, including interview snippets (in Croatian; full transcripts TBA). The latter, available here, can be made accessible after verification of research purposes, which may involve any area of interest concerning reader reception, literature, and memory.
