Quantum crystallography has made enormous progress in recent years to reveal the charge density in
crystal structures [1]. It has been shown that electron density distribution, electron correlation and polarisation can be determined separately using quantum crystallographic techniques from an X-ray diffraction experiments [2, 3]. In this proposal, we intend to use the excellent experimental conditions of ROBL's XRD-2 station to perform quantum crystallographic studies through combined variable wavelength X-ray diffraction experiments with high resolution and X-ray absorption absorption spectroscopy applied to a wide range of compounds.
