Processed fNIRS data and analysis code for low-altitude flight-scene viewing

This record contains processed functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) data and analysis resources for an exploratory study of passive viewing of low-altitude flight scenes. Twenty-three participants were included in the primary analyses of four 60-s passenger-perspective videos presented in a stationary cabin with wide-field projection.The archive Minimal_Dataset_v7.zip contains native-rate processed oxygenated- and deoxygenated-hemoglobin channel time series, experimental event records, video-feature time series, saved participant-specific design matrices, channel-selection and quality-control records, participant-level coefficients, group statistics, and analysis and plotting scripts. Documentation includes a README, a data dictionary, a file index, and software environment specifications.The resources support two primary questions: regional hemoglobin differences between video viewing and white-cross fixation (RQ1), and within-video associations of digital grayscale and mean optical-flow magnitude with regional hemodynamic time series (RQ2). The analysis workflow starts from processed fNIRS signals and saved design matrices. Original fNIRS recordings and stimulus video files are not included in this record.
