Octopus Spring virus enriched metagenomic sequencing

Metagenomic sequencing of a virus enriched sample from the geothermal spring Octopus Spring, Yellowstone National Park. Thermal water was filtered using tangential flow filters to enrich the sample for viruses, and sequencing was conducted in order to shed light on the viral communities present in Octopus Spring.
