NRS-15949 | Successful application files for community history grants [NSW Centenary of Federation Committee]

The Community History Grant scheme was set up by the NSW Centenary of Federation Committee to provide funds to support history groups and/or historians to conduct research; produce local publication; mount exhibitions; collect photographs etc, in order to stimulate interest in the community’s broader history and to highlight their contribution to Federation. The successful grant applications were decided upon by the Education, History & Civics Advisory Committee. These are the successful application files, where they have been received, the end products are included.The series is a mixture of A4 file folders, CDs, VHS video and audio cassettes. The files in this series are in a numeric sequence. This numbering was allocated on receipt of the grant application. The small letter "c" was allocated to Community history grants and then these were managed as a separate series.
