General Linear Models (GLMs) based on Type III Sum of Squares were carried out with adult body weight at logger deployment as dependent variable and foraging type and gender as fixed factors. As a measure of effect size partial Eta-squared values (η2) were included, i.e. the proportion of the effect+error variance that is attributable to the effect.
