资源简介:
Kaempferia parviflora, also known as black ginger, is a medicinal plant widely used in Southeast Asia and is now attracting increasing economic and scientific interest at a global market scale. However, lack of sufficient genetic tools such as molecular markers, is hindering further genomic study and breeding efforts. This project aims atto developing novel microsatellite markers for Kaempferia parviflora using Microsatellite Capture Sequencing (MiCAPs). By enriching fragments containing SSR using probe (GA)10 and performing paired-end sequencing with a MiSeq, we seek to obtain sufficient genetic information for the development of new SSR molecular markers. Additionally, we aim atto acquiringe polymorphism information to conduct diversity studies. This will enhance our understanding of the genetic diversity and structure of Kaempferia parviflora, aiding in conservation and breeding programs.
