Nicotine metabolites in urine - processed

This dataset was generated in an in vivo OECD TG 413 90-days nose-only inhalation study where Sprague-Dawley rats were exposed to either 3R4F cigarette smoke or aerosols of the carbon heated tobacco product (CHTP) 1.2, a heat-not-burn platform. The study contains additional test groups that were examined following a systems toxicology approach (please refer to the study page for more detail on the study design). Nicotine metabolites including nicotine, cotinine, nicotine-1-N-oxide, nornicotine, and trans-3-hydroxynicotine were measured in urine during exposure. This dataset includes descriptive statistics at the group level.
