Central blood pressure an improved method to manage hypertension (BP GUIDE study)

Data generated from a trial testing the practical clinical value of central blood pressure monitoring in the management of hypertension. The main findings were that people randomised to care guided by central blood pressure had significantly less use of blood pressure lowering medication to adequately control blood pressure. This finding supports the use of central blood pressure as an improved method to manage patients with hypertension
