Parthenogenetic Moina macrocopa was cloned and cultured in the lab laboratory. Survivorship curve for cohorts were estimated in presence and absence of food. Guts was dissected from the starved individuals of cohort and Bacterial strains in gut were analysed following metagenomic approach. Thus bacterial community sequenced represent the gut microbiome.
