The course of a single young patient using the facility is followed and the relationship of the parent, child and staff is demonstrated. An operative procedure, the myringotomy, is also included. The presentation is well done and its objectives are clearly stated and met. Thus, the program is recommended for general surgeons, anesthesiologists and hospital administrators.
