资源简介:
This dataset was collected as part of a study on the nutritional condition and feeding ecology of juvenile sablefish (Anoplopoma fimbria) in Southeast Alaska. The dataset consists of three comma separated files exported from a Microsoft Access database: 1) sablefish sampling event data (date, location, gear); 2) field and laboratory derived data for individual fish, including length, weight, total stomach content weight, age, nutritional condition and stable isotopes; 3) diet data for individual sablefish. Sablefish were collected from St. John Baptist Bay, Baranof Island, Southeast Alaska during six sampling periods (each 4-6 days in duration): October 2017, April/May 2018, July 2018, October 2018, March 2019, July 2019. Sablefish were caught using hook and line from depths of 12-90 m, weighed (g), measured (mm, fork length), tagged, and their stomach contents retrieved using gastric lavage. A subsample of individuals was retained for age determination and measurements of energy density and stable isotopes. Stomach contents were identified to the lowest taxonomic resolution in the laboratory. This work was a result of the North Pacific Research Board (NPRB) funded Project 1703.
