ANTARES Stage-42: Dataset and Code Package for the Frozen-Data Reanalysis

This repository contains the dataset, analysis code, statistical results, figures, and supporting records from the ANTARES Stage-42 frozen-data reanalysis. The package includes the frozen primary dataset and the analyses used in the study, including robustness checks, permutation tests, baseline-adjusted analyses, network/common-mode sensitivity analyses, provenance checks, site-linkage checks, and the assessment of the proposed mechanistic evidence chain. The frozen primary dataset contains 50 observations from 43 unique Antarctic subglacial lakes. The files are provided to allow the analyses and reported results to be independently checked. Stage-42 examines the observational association within the defined analytical framework. The results do not by themselves establish a causal event effect or demonstrate microbial EPS causation. The mechanistic assessment did not identify a complete site-linked quantitative evidence chain supporting the proposed EPS → till → friction → pressure → motion pathway. The repository also contains the final figures, analysis code, provenance documentation, file-integrity information, and the full supporting evidence archive.
