Data and MESA configuration files for "The Impact of New $^{59}$Fe Decay Rates on $^{60}$Fe and $^{26}$Al Nucleosynthesis in Massive Stars"
收藏资源简介:
This repository is for the paper "The Impact of New $^{59}$Fe Decay Rates on $^{60}$Fe and $^{26}$Al Nucleosynthesis in Massive Stars" by Bingyang Tan, accepted to The Astrophysical Journal. Repository Contents This deposit contains all the necessary MESA configuration files and scripts required to reproduce the results. The data for Table 2 and Table 3 in the manuscript, together with the analysis code to reproduce Figure 7, are also included. The repository is organized into three archive files: 1. mesa_inlists.zip (Simulation Configurations) Software Versions: MESA Version: r12115 MESA SDK Version: 20190830 This archive contains the files required to run the stellar evolution models. It is divided into the following primary subdirectories: /pre: Contains the files needed for the pre-core-collapse supernova (pre-CCSN) stellar evolution simulations. /ccsn: Contains the files needed for the core-collapse supernova (CCSN) explosion simulations. Within these directories, you will find: MESA Inlists: The specific configuration files used for both pre-CCSN and CCSN models. Nuclear Data: The updated 59Fe beta-decay rate data tables (Gao et al. 2021).DOI: https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.126.152701 Nuclear Network: The customized mesa162.net network file. 2. analysis_scripts_and_data.zip (Post-Processing & Figures) This archive contains the final tabulated nucleosynthesis results and the scripts used for post-processing and visualization. Data: The extracted final simulation data corresponding to Table 2 and Table 3 in the manuscript. Analysis & Plotting Scripts: The Python routines and code required to perform the Initial Mass Function (IMF) integrations and reproduce Figure 7 from the paper. 3. published-data-Tables2_3.zip (Table 2 and 3 data as published in the final ApJ Journal article) Usage Instructions MESA Simulations: Detailed instructions on how to use the provided scripts, set up the environment, and configure the parameters are documented in the README.md files located inside both the /pre and /ccsn subdirectories. Data Analysis & Plotting: The Jupyter notebook flux_ratio.ipynb reads the yields data from table3.mrt, then calculates and visualizes the flux ratio results.
