Hydrometeorological data on the conditions of the environment are
held by the Russian State Fund of data. This dataset was created
by Middle Asia Research Institute in 1985 and containes data from 129
stations of Middle Asia and Kazakhstan. Data is currently stored on
magnetic tape (800 bit/inch).
