资源简介:
Abstract This article presents results of the postdoctoral work, where he investigated the evolution of urban agriculture models and their impacts as public policy of sustainability, food security and ecological economy of the "Country - City - State" of Singapore. For, modern urban agriculture deployed in this region of Asia has contributed significantly to reducing local food insecurity, as well as contributing to more sustainable food production practices and significant reduction of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions in supply chain logistics. The methodology used was in bibliographic investigations and field research with high-tech urban farms of agricultural production without the use of land, in order to appreciate the production and consumption of vegetables by Singaporeans in order to calculate an estimated value of the reduction of emissions of (CO₂) caused by the use of modern urban agriculture. The results showed that Singapore is intensive use of urban agriculture with models of vertical farms, indoor farms and farms of property terraces. All models presented technological innovations, high productivity and organically certified food production and with emphasis on sustainability in contributing to the reduction of (CO₂) emissions in nature.
