Genetic variants significantly associated with variance in refractive error (variance heterogeneity).

Levene’s median test p-values are given for the tests carried out in the Stage-I sample and the Stage-II sample. Variants are ranked by p-value in the Stage-I sample. Novel genes are indicated; a citation is given for genes previously implicated in myopia development. The effect allele is the allele associated with a more myopic refractive error in a linear regression test for the marginal effect of the variant.
