Vegetation and Plant Propagules Deposited in the Reconnected Elbe Floodplain near Lenzen

This data refers to the study "Hydrochorous Dispersal of Diaspores in a Reconnected Floodplain: Distribution Patterns and Potential for the Development of Floodplain Habitats" that was conducted in the reconnected Elbe floodplain near Lenzen. The file "VegDia09_5m.csv" includes the species compositions of diaspores (individual numbers) that were deposited at the sampling locations during the first flooding of the reconnected floodplain in 2010. It also includes vegetation survey data (cover of the species in percent) that was collected in 5 m circles around the sampling locations in 2009 before the first flooding of the reconnected floodplain. The file "env_cor_VegDia09_5m.csv" includes environmental and biotic variables that were considered in correlations and ordinations that are part of the study "Hydrochorous Dispersal of Diaspores in a Reconnected Floodplain: Distribution Patterns and Potential for the Development of Floodplain Habitats".
