Effects of imipramine on haemodynamic and electrocardiographic parameters in the conscious guinea-pig

Dunkin Hartley guinea-pigs, conscious. No telemetry. Imipramine (20 and 80 mg/kg, p.o.), two groups of 6 male animals. No PK phase. Haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR). Lead II ECG (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB and QTcF intervals). Haemodynamic and ECG parameters were measured at baseline (before administration, T0), and at 30 (T30), 45 (T45), 60 (T60), 90 (T90), 120 (T120), 180 (T180), 240 (T240) and 360 (T360) min after dosing.
