The dataset consists of abdominal movement recordings collected using a multi-sensory device and Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) were used as the sensor for the device. The sensor (MPU6050) is a tri-axial accelerometric and tri-axial gyroscopic sensor and the device consists of four IMUs. In addition to the recordings, the dataset consists of different ground truth labels of the fetal movements that occurred during the recording time period. The ground truth labeling was done using two different methods. The first was to record the fetal movement labels using an Ultrasound setup (Ground truth recorded as fetal movements are seen from the screen) and the other was to use the subjects' perception as the ground truth. The ultrasound setup was operated by a consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Professorial Ward of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, University of Peradeniya. The ground truths recorded using the subjects' perception were also recorded under the supervision of consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologists in the same ward. The data was collected from 44 mothers and the files are in .csv format. For more details, refer to the README.pdf.
