A Teaching Case on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Engineering Standards: Empirical Evidence From Engineering Education

This dataset contains the empirical evidence collected from engineering students during the implementation of A Teaching Case on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Engineering Standards. It includes three components: (1) a detailed Method Description outlining the research design, participant information, and data collection procedures; (2) quantitative Survey Results measuring students’ perceived learning gains and their evaluation of the teaching case; and (3) qualitative Interview Results derived from the interviews conducted to capture deeper insights into students’ experiences, perceived benefits, and suggestions for improvement. Together, these materials provide comprehensive support for the methodological rigor and educational impact reported in the study.
