Soil moisture measurements of an intensive grassland in Germany

Data on soil moisture measured at the intensive grassland plots of the Global Change Experimental Facility (GCEF) in Bad Lauchstädt (https://www.ufz.de/index.php?en=42385). The dataset includes yearly measurements for the years 2014-2020 (in the soil layers 0-15 cm, 15-30 cm and 30-50 cm) and daily measurements for the years 2020-2024 (in the soil layers 0-15 cm, 7.5-22.5 cm and 15-30 cm).
