A GntR family protein encoded by PA4132 (AntP) for its regulation of anthranilate metabolism and bacterial pathogenesis in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The deletion of antP increased biofilm formation and reduced pyocyanin production. RNA sequencing analysis revealed that AntP regulates 278 genes that account for ~5% of the P. aeruginosa genome.
