Test of a column-bearing subassembly with no shear applied. Pure rotation was applied cyclically at the top of the bearing to capture the rotational stiffness of the bearings mounted on columns of varying stiffnesses. A natural and a lead plug rubber bearing were tested. Axial load was held constant throughout testing.
