Compare luteal and follicular phases of fimbria and ampulla tissue Fallopian tube epithelial cells for gene expression analysis of fimbria and ampulla specimens were obtained using LCM Expression arrays were preprocessed using the frma package (McCall et al., 2010) from Bioconductor for hgu133plus2 arrays, and the oligo Bioconductor package (Carvalho and Irizarry, 2010) for human genome HTA-2.0 arrays, to generate gene level summary expression levels. Ovarian cycle at the time of surgery (6 luteal phase and 7 follicular phase) was determined by histological review of the endometrium.
