Checklist for Early Recognition and Treatment of Acute Illness (CERTAIN)

The Checklist for Early Recognition and Treatment of Acute Illness and Injury implementation (CERTAIN) was tested using remote simulation training. Data was collected for 3 months before and 6 months after the checklist's implementation. The study found that implementing the intervention was associated with decreased nonadherence to daily care processes, shorter length of stay, and decreased mortality.
