Accessibility for Disabled Persons at the 2021 Norwegian Parliamentary Election, Survey

The starting point for the project was that all eligible voters should have the same opportunity to vote in elections and thus influence the development of society. The aim of the project, which was carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, was to map the extent to which people with disabilities in practice have an equal opportunity to vote, what the municipalities are doing to prepare the polling stations so that all voters can vote, and how the municipal decisions on arrangements and accessibility in the polling stations are made.

The study consists of 3 datasets; (1) An online survey of all Norwegian municipalities; (2) Qualitative interviews with local electoral administrators in nine municipalities; (3) factual observation of 27 polling stations in these nine municipalities. This study contains the survey data.
