Benthic foraminifera are well-established bioindicators for assessing marine Ecological Quality Status (EcoQS). While soft-walled monothalamids (class Monothalamea) dominate metabarcoding datasets, their bioindicator potential remains underexplored. Using two years of foraminiferal metabarcoding data from the North Sea, we evaluated EcoQS and monothalamid responses to offshore platform impacts.
