This dataset contains the raw and processed data supporting the manuscript <i>“Activation of mTOR pathway by human cytomegalovirus promoting host ribosomal protein expression by coordinated transcriptional and translational controls.”</i>Data are organized by figure numbers (Fig1–Fig5 and Supplementary Figures) and include:<b>Transcriptomics</b>: CAGE-seq and RNA-seq analyses of transcription start site (TSS) usage and differential expression.<b>Proteomics</b>: Label-free quantitative MS (LFQ/MS) and targeted PRM validation.<b>Validation assays</b>: PCR array, 5’RACE sequencing, PAGE results.<b>Functional studies</b>: Reporter plasmid assays, Western blot quantifications, fluorescence microscopy, and viral titration experiments.These datasets illustrate how HCMV infection drives alternative TSS switching in ribosomal protein genes (RPL4, RPS11, RPS23, RPS24), enhances 5’TOP motif isoform abundance, and activates mTOR-dependent translational regulation to promote viral replication.
