Mean retention times (RT) are given in minutes. Discriminant analyses were computed on data set including groups of (W) workers or (E) eggs originating from (Mo) monogyne and (Po) polygyne colonies. Values in bold remained significant after Bonferroni correction (reported P-values are uncorrected). Correlations between the relative amount of each peak and the respective discriminant function are provided (rs).
