Tissue samples from healthy controls were collected from the same patient (n = 10) for both Right ventricle and septum. The tissue samples were collected in the Department of Heart Failure and Transplantology, National Institute of Cardiology, Warsaw, Poland. To decipher the molecular mechanisms underlying RV remodeling in CTEPH, the transcriptomic profile of the RV and septum, were compared with those of a normal control group.
