资源简介:
Embryo implantation is a process where blastocysts interact with maternal uterus and remain attached to it until birth. It includes three crucial stages: apposition, adhesion and invasion. The molecular mechanisms that regulate embryo attachment and invasion are poorly understood. In our Studies we have shown that loss of expression of the homeobox transcription factor, HOXA10 in the luminal epithelium of endometrium induces epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) during embryo implantation thereby allow invasion of the embryo into endometrium for achieving a successful pregnancy.
