Burnout Dataset

The following search query was translated across six major health sciences databases (provided here with MeSH terms) and used to gather peer-reviewed articles for the period 2012- 2022.

"Burnout, Psychological"[Mesh] OR "burnout*"[Title/Abstract] OR "burn out*"[Title/Abstract] OR "burn-out"[Title/Abstract] OR "burnt out"[Title/Abstract] OR "burned out"[Title/Abstract] 

Subject Headings were exploded to broaden the scope of results retrieved. Results were retrieved and exported from PubMed Central, Ovid Medline, Embase, CINAHL, PsycInfo, and Cochrane Library. Results were not limited by language but were constrained to the years 2012-2022. Citations were then amalgamated, creating a dataset totaling 70, 319 entries. Duplicates were removed, resulting in a final dataset of 25, 896 articles from over 3, 700 unique journals. DOIs for each publication were matched in the OpenAlex database using R. This search was conducted in October 2022.
