The miRNA sequencing and degradrome sequencing of apple root tissues

In order to identify key miRNA families and their specific target genes in apple root during interaction with P. ultimum, we performed miRNA sequencing and Degradome sequencing. RNA isolated from mock-inoculated and P. ultimum-inoculated apple root tissues of resistant and three susceptible genotypes were used to make libraries that were sequenced using HiSeq (illumina).
