All sampling sites contain toxic residual organic and inPOPs which are mostly listed as an endocrine-disrupting chemical. Further, luxuriant growth of bacterial communities in the polluted sludge with different percentages showed the potential of bacterial communities to detoxify the pulp paper mill pollutants and mineralization of metallic and non-metallic organic residual pollutants at different stages of mixing of domestic waste and river water.
