Whole exome sequencing

Parkinsonism is a relatively common neurodegenerative disease. We have previously shown that the prevalence of parkinsonism in a southeastern region of Moravia is higher than in the general population.The study aims were: to select proper and accessible subfamily trios from the pedigree, to perform whole exome sequencing in trio individuals and to evaluate genetic variants in the each trio. The whole exome sequencing could contribute to find potential risk variant for development many diseases.
